Cuddlecare Wonder Pocket Diaper Review

I don’t use pocket diapers much anymore, preferring the convenience of All-in-Ones. However when CuddleCare approached me to try out their new Wonder Pocket diaper, I was intrigued to check it out and I was not disappointed.

Here is my review of the CuddleCare Wonder Pocket diaper.

Diaper Specifications:

  • Pocket diaper (insert has to be bought separately)
  • Inner layer – Stay-dry microsuede
  • Outer shell – PUL
  • 3 rise snaps
  • One size diaper. Manufacturer recommended weight – 5-15 kg

I have tried this diaper with a bulky 3-layer microfibre (MF) insert as well as with a trimmer 4 layer bamboo cotton insert. In both cases I was able to adjust the rise and waist snaps to get a decent fit and no leaks. With the organic insert, I got a trim look on the medium setting, though with the MF insert the diaper did look a little sagging after a while. Also I have to use the largest waist and rise setting for the MF. This diaper seems to be better suited for trimmer organic inserts.

What I Liked:

  • The diaper came in a reusable eco-friendly cloth bag
  • Cuddlecare also sent along a personalized note (personalized notes to customers always leave a good impression) and a set of wash and care instructions which will be very useful to newbie CDing parents.

Look and Feel:
  • This diaper is available in 6 adorable prints
  • The outer waterproof PUL shell is quite thin and pliable
  • The inner layer has a soft microsuede stay-dry lining
  • Diaper has gentle ruffled elastics that did not leave marks on baby’s skin

  • It gave a very good fit for my lean, tall 15 month old
  • It has a back elastic for better fit around the waist
  • Crossover tabs will give a good fit for smaller babies as well
  • The wings have triangular snap alignment with hip snap as well to prevent wing droop and side leakages

  • The pocket is generously sized to add single or multiple inserts as required. Stuffing inserts is very smooth as compared to other pocket diapers I have used.
  • One key differentiating feature of this diaper is that it has flaps on both the front and the back. This prevents leakages from both sides. My toddler moves and flips around a lot in his sleep, but I did not have any leakage issue when I used this diaper for his naptime.
  • Double gusset for further ensuring no side leakages

Generously sized pocket - Easy to stuff & spacious to add multiple inserts

  • The price point is very affordable as compared to other brands providing such premium features

Parting Note:

As far as pocket diapers go, this one comes loaded with useful features at an affordable price. I would definitely recommend this diaper.
